Indigenous Owned

Ancient traveler carrying goods upon back holding a staff journey along a migration spiral across the southwest as terraced mesas rise in the background below four stars representing the cardinal directions.

Indigenous people have conducted “business” for thousands of years. For the people of the southwest, traders traveled to what is now Mesoamerica, Pacific ocean, Rocky mountains, and the plains of central America. Traders from those areas also travelled to the southwest. There was and still is an extensive network of trade, news, and information that created a vibrant and busy southwest.
